Iran purchased 60 thousand tons of barley from Russia and Kazakhstan
On November 19, Iran’s State Livestock Feed Import Agency (SLAL) held a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of fodder barley for delivery in December-January from the EU, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. This is reported by Reuters.
60 thousand tons of barley from Russia and Kazakhstan have been purchased. The delivery will take place in small shiploads from the Caspian Sea ports. The purchase price is not disclosed.
According to traders, Iran offers to pay for the purchased grain through the banks of Turkey and Iraq.
