For two weeks of February, Ukrainian grain exports amounted to 2.8 million tons
In the first half of February, Ukraine exported over 2.863 mln tonnes of grain. In general, since the beginning of 2023/24 MY Ukraine exported 26.739 mln tonnes of grains and pulses.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Denys Bashlyk.
During two weeks of the current month, the country exported:
- 1.613 million tons of corn,
- 1.1 million tons of wheat,
- 126 thousand tons of barley.
Also during this period, 4.7 thsd tonnes of flour were shipped abroad.
In total, since the beginning of the season, corn exports amounted to 14.6 mln tons, and wheat – 10.3 mln tons.
As a reminder, according to experts, many Ukrainian farmers are ready to postpone corn sales until the summer or next season.
