Azerbaijan cut wheat imports by 27% this year
Azerbaijan imported 328.5 thousand tons of wheat worth $72.7 million in January-May this year.
This is reported by Report with reference to the data of the State Customs Committee.
According to the data, it is 121.6 thousand tons (27%) less in quantity and $62.2 million (46.1%) in value terms compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, wheat imports amounted to 1% of Azerbaijan’s total imports.
