Ukraine. Ukrzaliznytsia has opened a new grain route from Moldova to Chornomorsk
JSC Ukrzaliznytsia has delivered the first grain train from Moldova to the port of Chornomorsk.
A batch of grain weighing 4.5 thousand tons from Moldova has already been delivered by a new railway route to the port of Chornomorsk. From there, the cargo is sent by sea to its destination.
“The launch of this route is the result of the coordinated work of railway workers of Ukraine and Moldova. It opens up new logistical opportunities, supports the stability of agricultural exports even in difficult times, and strengthens the partnership between the countries,” Ukrzaliznytsia noted.
They added that now Ukrainian ports have another route for receiving cargo from abroad, which will help increase transportation volumes and develop international trade.
Further development of the grain and oilseed markets of Ukraine and the Black Sea region will be in the spotlight of the BLACK SEA GRAIN. KYIV conference, taking place on April 22–23 in Kyiv.
