Turkey may raise import duties on sunflower seed and sunflower oil
From July 1, 2021, Turkey is considering raising its import duties on sunflower seed and crude sunflower oil to 27% and 36%, respectively, versus the current zero rate, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Traditionally, the tariffs are increased when new-crop sunseed is arriving in the domestic market, in order to protect local growers.
