Tunisia purchased 50 thsd tons of barley at a tender
On February 12, the Office des Céréales purchased 50,000 tons of feed barley of optional origin in an international tender. According to traders, six companies participated in the tender, offering barley at prices ranging from $276.9 to $285.12 per ton on a C&F basis.
Specifically, 25,000 tons were bought from Bunge at $278.16 per ton for delivery between March 25 and April 5, 2026, while another 25,000 tons were purchased from Louis Dreyfus Company at approximately $276–276.9 per ton for shipment from April 10–20. The procurement is intended to meet Tunisia’s domestic demand for feed grains.
