Thailand purchased 60 thsd tons of feed wheat at a low price in a tender
According to market operators, a group of Thai importers purchased 60,000 tons of feed wheat at an international tender for delivery in January 2026 at a price of $235.9/ton CIF (excluding additional costs for unloading the vessel).
Recall that in October, prices for feed corn in the markets of Southeast Asia were at the same level, which later rose to $256-259/t, and now have decreased to $249-250/t amid an increase in the supply of cheap feed wheat from Australia.
Therefore, markets need to prepare for further declines in feed crop prices.
