Sowing campaign started in all regions of Ukraine – Volodymyr Zelensky
The sowing campaign has started in all regions of Ukraine, including Luhansk and Donetsk regions. President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his video address to the nation on Friday evening.
“The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food reported that the sowing campaign has begun and continues in all regions of our country, including Luhansk and Donetsk,” he said.
The Cabinet of Ministers provided farmers with preferential funding of UAH 3.5 billion. The government also decided to simplify the registration of agricultural machinery as much as possible.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy predicted that farmers could sow 70% of available land this year in Ukraine, according to a pessimistic scenario.
