Polish port of Gdynia increased grain transshipment volumes by 13%
In January-April 2026, grain transshipment in the Polish port of Gdynia increased by 13% compared to the same period last year. In four months, the port processed 1.67 million tons of grain, which is almost 200 thousand tons more than last year. This is reported by Gospodarka Morska.
Currently, grain cargoes in the port are served by three terminals – HES Gdynia Bulk Terminal, OT Port Gdynia and Speed. Transshipment operations are carried out without interruption.
Another grain terminal is also being prepared for launch in the port, which will provide about 10% of the total grain transshipment capacity in Gdynia. The facility is undergoing a change of operator and should resume operation under the management of a new tenant. The future operator of the terminal will be a consortium involving Szczecin Bulk Terminal, Tapini and Ribera.
