Memorandum will help Ukrainian producers increase exports of pulses to India
Ukraine has the potential to increase supplies of yellow peas and other pulses to the Indian market. Industry experts note the high demand in India and the good reputation of Ukrainian producers as reliable suppliers.
The Ukrainian Bean and Soybean Association (UBSA) and the Indian Pulses and Grains Association (IPGA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at expanding cooperation in the field of production, trade and popularization of pulses. The document provides for joint research, exchange of analytics and development of inter-organizational communications.
UBSA President Antonina Sklyarenko emphasized that thanks to the Memorandum, Ukraine is entering a new level of cooperation, which will allow increasing export volumes, strengthening industry ties and increasing the presence of Ukrainian pulses on the Indian market.
