Kazakhstan will send shipments via a new multimodal transit corridor

A pilot project of a new multimodal export route from Kazakhstan through Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and further by sea to the port of Jebel Ali in the UAE has been launched, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
This was reported by the administration of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
The new route is organized with the participation of KTZ Express with the assistance of the Pakistani company National Logistics Cell.
As part of the project, loading of hollow microspheres made of aluminosilicate has begun in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan for transportation by rail.
In Almaty, they will be transshipped into containers, which will be loaded onto trucks of the Pakistani partner.
Then they will be transported in transit through Uzbekistan and Afghanistan to the port of Karachi in Pakistan.
From there, two containers will be sent by sea to the port of Jebel Ali in the United Arab Emirates.
