Jordan launches tenders to buy wheat and barley
Jordan’s Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply has issued two tenders to purchase wheat and feed barley. The country plans to buy 100,000–120,000 tons of each commodity, bringing the potential combined procurement volume to as much as 240,000 tons of grain.
The ministry invited interested suppliers to obtain tender documents containing the terms and specifications. The deadline for barley offers is 2 p.m. next Wednesday, while wheat bids are due the following Thursday.
