Indonesia lowers August crude palm oil reference price
Indonesia has set its August reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) at $996.52 per ton, slightly down from $1,000.90 per ton in July. The updated reference price was published by the country’s Ministry of Trade.
Despite the slight decline in the reference price, the crude palm oil export tax will remain unchanged at $148 per ton in August. In addition, Indonesia will continue to impose a separate 12.5% export levy on crude palm oil exports.
