Indonesia approved the supply of barley from Russia
Indonesia allowed Russian enterprises to supply barley. In December 2021, the Agricultural Quarantine Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture posted on its official website the quarantine phytosanitary requirements, including the disinfection requirements, imposed by Indonesia on Russian barley.
This was preceded by a four-year work of the Rosselkhoznadzor with the competent department of the Republic of Indonesia, as a result of which the quarantine phytosanitary requirements originally imposed by Indonesia for these products were significantly relaxed.
Currently, only two Russian exporters are allowed to export barley, but if necessary, interested parties can apply to Rosselkhoznadzor.
