Grain from Ukraine: Germany paid the transportation costs for transporting grain to Ethiopia
Germany took over the costs of transporting grain that left the port of Odesa to Ethiopia as part of the Grain from Ukraine program.
This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of Germany in Ukraine.
It is noted that 25,000 tons of wheat provided by Ukraine is already on its way to Ethiopia
“Germany is supporting the initiative through the UN’s World Food Program (WFP) and is covering the transportation costs of $14 million for the ship that left the port in Odesa this week. 1.6 million people in Ethiopia will be able to receive grain to cover their needs for at least one month,” the message reads.
