European Commission wants to return lost export markets to Ukraine
The European Commission has launched a new study to identify accompanying measures to support the Ukrainian agricultural sector.
This was emphasized by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaia Kallas, in her address at the IV International Conference on Food Security Food from Ukraine.
This is about returning to Ukraine export markets lost since 2022 as a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, she emphasized that Russia’s war against Ukraine disrupted trade routes, reduced agricultural production, and as a result, food prices have risen sharply worldwide.
Kaia Kallas also does not rule out that Ukraine’s knowledge and technologies for demining agricultural land can be used in other countries that need it.
