Demand in the corn market continued to support prices in Ukraine
Corn price adjusted $210–212/mt (+$2–3/mt over the week) for grain delivered CPT Odesa.
In January, exports totalled 2.7M mt, with the majority going to Turkey (625K mt), Italy (606K mt) and Spain (280K mt).
Prices in Ukraine are being supported by steady demand from southern European countries.
According to Eurostat, the EU increased its corn purchases in January and is increasingly importing from Ukraine, while the US is currently focused on the Mexican and Japanese markets.
