China became the top buyer of Ukrainian corn in November
November corn exports from Ukraine totaled almost 3.8 MMT (+69% from October, +22% from November 2020/21), UkrAgroConsult reports.
4.85 MMT has been exported this season (-3% y-o-y).
In November, the highest volume – over 1.2 MMT – was shipped to China, but this season’s exports to the Chinese market lag 34% behind last year. Apart from China, Egypt also reduced imports – down 38% y-o-y.
The majority of other importers increased purchases from last year: the EU and Tunisia (+1%), Turkey (fivefold), Israel (twofold), Iran (+37%) and Libya (+18%).
South Korea imported more than 325 KMT of Ukrainian corn in November, or more than in the entire last season (53 KMT).
