Brazil’s soybean exports outpace last year’s pace in early June
According to data from Brazil’s Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), the country’s soybean exports in early June 2026 are running ahead of the pace recorded during the same period last year. Between June 1 and 5, Brazil exported 3.14 million tonnes of soybeans.
For comparison, Brazil exported a total of 13.42 million tonnes of soybeans during the entire month of June 2025. The strong start to June highlights robust demand for Brazilian soybeans and the rapid marketing of the new crop on global markets.
Analysts note that faster exports from one of the world’s largest soybean suppliers will increase global availability of soybeans. Higher shipment volumes could add pressure to both physical and futures markets, as importers gain access to larger supplies and expectations of abundant availability continue to grow.
