In its latest report, Brazil’s National Association of Grain Exporters (ANEC) stated that Brazilian soybean meal exports are expected to reach 1.82 million tons in January 2026, up from 1.644 million tons in January 2025.

The ANEC report indicates that Brazilian soybean meal exports are expected to reach 1.82 million tons in January 2026, up 10.7% from a year earlier (compared to 1.644 million tons in January 2025).

The increase in exports indicates ample global supply, which could lead to lower prices on global markets, as Brazil, as a major exporting country, will increase supply. However, demand for supplies is also high. According to Chinese analytical agency SunSirs, China’s contract position increased by 21,542 lots, indicating strong market attention.

According to OleoScope, the price of soybean meal (FOB Brazil) for January delivery was $321.78 per ton on January 21, 2026, up $0.90 per ton from the previous price of $320.89 per ton on January 20, 2026. This is the highest weekly value.

According to the latest forecast from the National Supply Company (Conab), Brazil’s total production in the 2025-2026 marketing year remains at a record level, despite slight fluctuations in individual crops.
