Algeria buys 500 thsd tons of wheat in tender
Algeria’s state grain agency OAIC purchased around 500–510 thsd tons of milling wheat in an international tender that closed on September 15. According to preliminary estimates, prices were around $319–321/t C&F.
Shipment is scheduled in two periods — November 1–15 and November 16–30. For comparison, in its previous tender on August 5, Algeria bought up to 720 thsd tons of wheat at around $289–290/t C&F.
