Zelensky: Polish government has enough opportunities to solve the problem of damage to Ukrainian goods, if only there was a will
It’s politics again, and it’s a story to be shown in the media, and it’s especially unpleasant that the media in Russia are doing it. We are playing on Russia’s side with such events.
This was the response of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to a question from a Polish journalist about the fourth case of Ukrainian grain being scattered by Polish protesters during a press conference.
“And when we say how to stop it? This is not happening on the territory of Ukraine. Polish grain or food is not spilled on our land. And Ukraine imports $1.7 billion worth of Polish food products a year. Just imagine a month or two of blocking these goods. We are doing everything to avoid blocking our relations,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that no matter how much Russia interferes, Polish goods continue to go to Ukraine.
“I believe that the new Polish government needs to quickly resolve this issue, because it is wrong to pour out grain for the fourth time. This can be done through the security service, police, and border guards. There are enough opportunities, there would be a desire,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
