Winter crop sowing campaign in Ukraine is nearing completion

As of November 11, Ukrainian farmers have sown 6.195 mln ha of winter crops. This is 94.5% of the projected area.
In particular, the following were sown:
- winter wheat – 4.507 mln ha;
- winter barley – 5.442 mln ha;
- winter rye – 66.1 thsd ha.
Among the leaders in grain crops sowing are Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv regions.
Grain sowing has already been completed in Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Rivne and Chernihiv regions.
Winter rapeseed has been sown on 1.077 mln ha. The largest number is in Odessa, Vinnytsia and Mykolaiv regions.
Farmers in 14 regions have completely completed the sowing of rapeseed.
