Vietnam’s feed industry maintains stable wheat use

Vietnam’s feed industry maintains stable wheat utilization: according to the latest USDA FAS report, wheat volumes for feed in 2024–2026 will remain roughly flat. Feed mills continue to use wheat as a reliable but limited energy source, combining it with corn and other grains without significant changes to formulas.
Total wheat imports in 2025/26 are projected to be around 5.7 million tonnes, primarily driven by the milling industry. Supplier dynamics continue to shift: Australia’s share is declining, while Canada and the United States are strengthening their positions due to competitive quality and prices.
For feed mills, current forecasts point to a stable wheat supply and a predictable role for this grain in feed rations.
