USDA did not change the forecast of corn harvest in Ukraine in MY 2024/25
USDA analysts forecast world corn production in the 2024/25 season at 1,218.57 million tons (-1.25 million tons to the preliminary forecast). World corn exports are estimated at 191.37 million tons (-0.1 million tons) and ending stocks are forecast at 308.35 million tons (-1.82 million tons). This is according to the USDA’s September report.
The forecast for corn harvest in Ukraine has not changed – 27.2 million tons, the estimate of exports and ending stocks also remained unchanged – 24 million tons and 0.73 million tons, respectively.
USDA analysts increased the estimate of corn production in the United States – 385.73 million tons (+0.99 million tons), export forecast unchanged – 58.42 million tons, ending stocks will decrease by 0.41 million tons – to 52.26 million tons.

USDA experts forecast the corn harvest in China at 292 mln tonnes, imports – 21 mln tonnes (-2 mln tonnes), ending stocks – 211.34 mln tonnes (-1.5 mln tonnes).
