Ukrainian seaports handled almost 97 million tons of cargo last year
In 2024, the seaports of Ukraine demonstrated a record figure for wartime – almost 97 million tons of cargo turnover. This was reported by the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
In 2024, despite the constant shelling and destruction of infrastructure, the ports reached a record high for wartime – almost 97 million tons of cargo turnover.
“Thanks to the courage and professionalism of the Ukrainian Navy, the Ukrainian corridor remains a reliable sea route that plays a critical role in ensuring the world’s food security. A special role in supporting the export potential is played by the ports of the Danube cluster, which, with the support of international partners, remain a reliable alternative for Ukrainian exports,” the statement said.
