Ukrainian ports handled 4 mln tons of agricultural products in August
In August, Ukrainian ports handled 6.8 million tons of cargo, which is more than double the results of August 2023. This was reported by the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority”.
In August, Ukrainian ports handled 6.8 million tons of cargo, which is more than twice as much as in August 2023. Of these, 4 million tons were agricultural products exported to international markets.
According to USPA operational data, from January to August 2024, Ukrainian seaports handled 66.8 million tons of cargo. The figures are significantly higher than in the same period in 2023, when the volume of cargo handled amounted to 37.7 million tons. In total, 41.7 million tons of cargo handled were products of the Ukrainian agricultural sector.
