Ukrainian farmers sowed 1.6 mln ha of winter crops

As of September 23, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have sown 1.6 mln ha of winter crops. Winter grain is already being sown in all regions of Ukraine.
In particular, the following were sown:
- winter wheat – 672 thsd ha;
- winter barley – 37.7 thsd ha;
- winter rye – 17.7 thsd ha;
- winter rapeseed – 872.6 thsd ha.
Among the leaders in grain crops are Poltava, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Winter rapeseed was sown most in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsia and Ternopil regions.
