Ukrainian farmers harvested 6.3 million tons of corn and 9 million tons of sunflower
Ukrainian farmers harvested grain and pulses crops on an area of 8 million hectares (72%) with a yield of 4.07 tons/ha and threshed 32.6 million tons of grain, including
- 4.7 million hectares of wheat were threshed (100%), with a yield of 4.12 tons/ha, 19.4 million tons were threshed;
- 1.6 million ha of barley were threshed (100%), with a yield of 3.51 t/ha, 5.6 million tons were threshed;
- 111.5 thousand tons of peas were threshed. ha (100%), with a yield of 2.34 t/ha, 261 thousand threshed tons;
- corn for grain was threshed on 1.1 million hectares (27%), with a yield of 5.54 tons/ha, 6.3 million tons were threshed;
- 111 thousand tons of buckwheat were threshed. ha (95%), with a yield of 1.36 t/ha, 151 thousand threshed tons; millet threshed 42.6 thousand ha (95%), with a yield of 23.1 t/ha, 98,000 tons were threshed. tons
The farmers of Zhytomyr region threshed the most buckwheat – 29.6 thousand. tons, and the highest yield of this grain crop in Poltava Oblast is 1.91 t/ha. Agricultural producers of Odesa Region threshed the most barley – 833,000 tons.
Sunflower was harvested on an area of 4.1 million hectares, (87%) 9 million tons of seeds were threshed with a yield of 2.2 tons/ha. The highest threshing yield among the farmers of Kirovohrad Region is 1.3 million tons.
Soybeans were collected on an area of 1.3 million hectares, (85%) threshed 3.1 million tons with a yield of 2.39 tons/ha, the most in Khmelnytskyi – 380 thousand. tons
Sugar beet was excavated on an area of 131.4 thousand square meters. ha, (73%) 6.4 million tons of sweet roots were dug up with a yield of 48.8 t/ha, the highest in Vinnytsia region – 1.9 million tons.
Rapeseed harvesting was completed on an area of 1.1 million hectares, 3.2 million tons of seeds were threshed (100%) with a yield of 2.89 c/ha;
Agricultural producers of Dnipropetrovsk region and Odesa region threshed more than 2.7 million tons of grain, and Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi more than 2 million tons of grain each.
The high yield of grain and pulses crops among the farmers of Khmelnytskyi is 6.22 t/ha.
