Ukraine. Winter crop plants began to gradually come out of dormancy

UkrAgroConsult

Crop condition: After the onset of above-freezing air temperatures, winter crop plants began to gradually come out of dormancy. They show good regenerative capacity when tested. This is evidenced by the results of analysis of soil and crop samples, UkrAgroConsult reports.

In fields sown within the optimal period, the winter survival rates of plants and stalks are 98-99% and 97.2%, respectively. Winter crop plants are in fair and good condition. Winter grains are in good phytosanitary condition, but Septoria and Helminthosporium infections are observed on lower-tier leaf blades in winter barley;

In 2021, mouse-like rodents are spread insignificantly, and their rates are below the economic threshold.
