Ukraine. Verification of agricultural exporters will be canceled as of December 1
Starting from December 1, the need for verification of agricultural exporters and the need to obtain export licenses in case such verification is not passed will be canceled. This was announced by Managing Partner of Kosovan Legal Group Anatoliy Kosovan.
Thus, it will not matter when the exporter is registered as a taxpayer and whether it has previously carried out grain export operations.
However, it is worth noting that the tax authorities will suspend the registration of the tax invoice for newly established companies that immediately export large consignments of goods.
“Additionally, it will no longer matter whether the exporter has a violation regarding the return of foreign currency earnings and whether the relevant tax debt has been repaid. Only the amount of unreturned foreign exchange earnings will be relevant for export procedures,” Kosovan said.
Also, from this date, only VAT payers will have the right to export the relevant group of goods.
As a reminder, export security and minimum export prices will be introduced on December 1, 2024.
