Ukraine. Starting in June, minimum export prices will be determined in a new way

On June 10, the next update of the minimum prices for the export of agricultural products will take place. The new indicators will take into account the latest changes in the market and business offers. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky at the Agro Ukraine Summit 2025.
“This update will already be based on the latest changes. Business actively advocated for the removal of restrictions on minimum prices and supply conditions,” Vysotsky noted.
He also noted that it would be advisable to first see for 2-3 months how it will work.
“We have an update on June 10. If it becomes obvious that taking into account this change, some more critical improvements are still needed, of course, we will initiate them immediately,” Vysotsky added.
Vysotsky stressed that there are currently no threats to the export of grain or processed products. Despite certain concerns, prices remain high, and there are no significant restrictions on exports.
“Yes, there are specifics for honey and nuts, where a separate discussion is still ongoing. And in grains, oilseeds, and processed products, we do not yet see any threats of export restrictions,” the deputy minister clarified.
