Ukraine received a full package of conditions for joining the EU
Today, March 17, Ukraine received from the European Commission the conditions for accession (benchmarks) for all negotiation clusters.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration – Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka on Facebook.
According to him, the last conditions (benchmarks) for the closure of Clusters 3 “Competitiveness and Inclusive Development”, 4 “Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity” and 5 “Resources, Agriculture and Cohesion Policy” were transferred to Ukraine.
Thus, today Ukraine has a full package of conditions, the fulfillment of which is necessary for accession to the EU, Taras Kachka emphasized.
“Today we received a full list of what Ukraine must do within the clusters, and now it is about practical work on fulfilling these conditions. In a sense, this is already a new stage of the negotiation process, because Ukraine clearly knows what the EU member states expect from it,” the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
In December, the European Commission provided Ukraine with a list of relevant criteria for Clusters 1 “Fundamentals of the EU accession process”, 2 “Internal market” and 6 “External relations”.
