Ukraine. More than half of the wheat agreed upon in the grain memorandum was exported

The volume of exports of grains and pulses from Ukraine in MY 2024/25 amounted to 16.3 mln tonnes as of November 15, up 48% compared to the same period last season.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Thus, 8.3 mln tons of wheat were shipped this season, which is 59% higher than last year. Thus, 51% of the total volume of wheat agreed in the grain memorandum (16.2 mln tons) was exported.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 1.7 mln tons, which is 2.3 times higher than in the same period last year.
Rye was shipped in the amount of 10.7 thou tons, which is 12 times more than last season (0.9 thou tons).
Ukraine exported almost 6 mln tons of corn, which is 22% more than the same date last season.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 28.5 thsd tonnes, down 38% year-on-year.
For reference: in MY 2023/24, the exports of grains and pulses totaled 50.8 mln tonnes: wheat – 18.4 mln tonnes, barley – 2.5 mln tonnes, rye – 1.6 thsd tonnes, corn – 29.4 mln tonnes, flour – 98.2 thsd tonnes.
