Ukraine increased corn exports by 1.5 times and wheat exports by 75% in April
In April of the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported almost 5.2 million tonnes of grains and oilseeds.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Grain Association on Facebook.
According to analysts, export volumes increased by 39% compared with April last year, when they stood at 3.73 million tonnes.
Corn supplies to foreign markets in April increased by 1.5 times and amounted to 2.73 million tonnes.
Wheat exports rose by 75% to 1.33 million tonnes, while barley exports increased by 28% to 60 thousand tonnes.
At the same time, exports of oilseeds declined in April compared with the same month last year. In particular, soybean exports fell by 47% to 162 thousand tonnes, while rapeseed exports decreased fourfold to 20 thousand tonnes.
A total of 435 thousand tonnes of sunflower oil were shipped to foreign markets, which is 4% higher than the figure recorded in April last year.
