Ukraine. In 2-3 years, the price of agricultural land may increase to $2,200 per hectare

In 2-3 years, the price of agricultural land may increase to UAH 60,000 per hectare. According to the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy, Taras Vysotsky, the price per hectare is 38,000 UAH due to small land sales.
Foreigners and large landowners do not buy land bypassing the law. However, from the introduction of the market in 2024, will see prices rise. The price increase is expected when legal entities with Ukrainian owners will be able to buy land, invest in irrigation systems, etc.
The cost of a hectare of agricultural land will likely increase from UAH 38,000 ($1,400) now to UAH 55,000-60,000 ($2,200), said Vysotsky.
