Ukraine harvested more than 6,2 million tonnes of sugar beets

As of October 22, Ukrainian farmers harvested more than 6,2 million tonnes of sugar beets.
It is reported by Information and Analytical Portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine.
Agrarians of 16 regions out of 18 beet growing regions continue sugar beet harvesting campaign (134 thousand ha, 59% in Ukraine), more than 6,2 million tonnes of sugar beets were harvested with the average yield of 465,2 centners/ha. Dnipropetrovsk region finished harvesting operations. Kharkiv region harvested the most sugar beets — 93% of the forecast, the highest average beet yield was registered in Lviv region and amounted to 554,8 centners/ha.
