Ukraine completes wheat and barley harvesting

In total, Ukraine harvested 28.5 mln tons of grain and over 3.4 mln tons of oilseeds.
The new harvest was threshed on an area of over 7.94 mln hectares, with a harvest of 31.82 mln tons.
- wheat – 100% of the area of 4.846 mln hectares has been threshed, with a harvest of 21.7 mln tons;
- barley – 1397.4 thsd hectares were harvested – 100%, 5.5 mln tons were harvested;
- peas – threshed on 207.6 thsd hectares – 99%, harvested 458.5 thsd tons.
- rapeseed – 1 227.6 thsd hectares were harvested by 98%, with 3.4 mln tons of seeds harvested.
Odesa region is the leader in grain harvesting, with 1075.7 thsd hectares harvested.
Khmelnytsky region has the highest yield at 6.55 t/ha.
Dnipropetrovs’k region started harvesting soybeans on 0.65 thsd hectares with a yield of 1.52 t/ha. Farmers in Mykolaiv region started harvesting sunseed.
