Ukraine. Astarta Completed the Early Grain Harvesting
Astarta’s agricultural subsidiaries completed the early grain harvesting. A total of 285kt of winter and spring crops were threshed, including 265kt of winter wheat.
The average yield of winter wheat was 4.8t/ha, spanning from 4.3t/ha in the Poltava region and 5.8t/ha in the Western region. The highest yield of 6.3t/ha was achieved at Zhytnytsia Podillya agricultural farm in the Khmelnytskyi region.
19kt of winter rapeseeds were harvested, with an average yield of 3.1t/ha, spanning from 2.6t/ha in the Poltava region and 3.7t/ha in the Western region. The highest yield of 3.7t/ha was also achieved at Zhytnytsia Podillya agricultural farm.
Currently, the soil preparation works for the next winter crops, and spring crops of the 2023 harvest are ongoing, alongside the planting of winter rapeseeds. The company is also preparing for the next stage – harvesting soya, sunflower, sugar beet and corn.
