Turkey introduced reference prices for sunflower and sunflower oil
The Turkish government has decided to introduce reference prices for sunflower oil at $1350 per ton and sunflower seeds at $700 per ton, respectively, starting September 18, Reuters reports.
The final term of these changes has not yet been determined.
According to experts and traders, the introduction of reference prices will lead to a significant increase in import duties on sunflower oil and sunflower seeds, their levels will average 35% and 56%, respectively.
