Tunisia holds tender for wheat purchase
On August 7, the Tunisian Grain Agency (ODC) held a tender for the purchase of 100,000 tons of soft wheat of any origin. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
75,000 tons of wheat were purchased on a C&F basis from the following companies:
- Dreyfus – two lots of 25,000 tons at $262.5 per ton;
- Ray – 25,000 tons at $262.57 per ton.
The shipment will take place from September 20 to October 20.
16 companies took part in the tender. The price of the wheat they offered ranged from $262.5 to $279.15 per ton.
