The projected gross soybean harvest in Ukraine could reach 5.3-5.6 mln tons
As of June 16, the plant in Ukraine harvested 3.08 million tons of soybeans from an area of 1.214 million hectares, which is close to 61.8% of the planned area. The average yield is 2.29 t/ha. Since the average yield on surplus areas (over 950 thousand hectares) decreases at the current level or increases by 10%, the total soybean harvest can reach 5.3-5.6 million tons.
Spike Brokers analysts report this.
The greatest potential for increasing the gross harvest lies in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Ternopil, Chernihiv and Kiev regions, which will consume the values of the surplus area steadily high yield (25-30 c/ha).
In the western regions (Lviv, Rivnensk, Khmelnytsky regions) an increase in productivity is predicted due to weather-friendly minds and a later term of harvest.
