Sunflower meal exports from Ukraine remain the lowest since MY 2016/17
Ukrainian sunflower meal exports in September-December 2021/22 were at a six-year low of 1446 KMT (-17% y-o-y) due to limited supply from growers and a slow pace of processing, UkrAgroConsult reports.
China continued stepping up purchases (+7% y-o-y), while the EU slashed imports from Ukraine by 59%.
Growth in exports was registered to the following markets: Lithuania (+69%), Belarus (+45%), China (+7%).
A slowdown in exports was fixed to France (-94%), Italy (-93%) and Spain (-67%).
