Sugar beets harvesting has begun in Ukraine
In Ukraine, 32.02 million tons of the new crop was threshed, which was harvested on an area of 8,040.3 thousand hectares. Vinnytsia farmers have started harvesting sugar beets, which have been dug up on an area of 200 hectares.
In total, 28.59 million tons of grains and 3.42 million tons of oilseeds were harvested.
wheat – harvested on an area of 4,858.9 thousand hectares, 21.74 million tons were threshed;
barley – 1,399.2 thousand ha were harvested, 5.5 million tons were threshed;
peas – harvested on an area of 207.6 thousand hectares, 458.5 thousand tons were threshed.
millet – 11.9 thousand hectares were harvested, 20 thousand tons were threshed.
buckwheat – 4.3 thousand hectares were harvested, 6.2 thousand tons were threshed.
rapeseed – 1,227.7 thousand hectares were harvested, 3,361.9 thousand tons of seeds were threshed.
The agrarians of Odesa region are the leaders in grain harvesting – 1,080.7 thousand hectares were harvested there.
The highest yield is in the Khmelnytskyi region with an indicator of 65.5 t/ha.
7 regions are already harvesting sunflower, which has been harvested on 46.7 thousand hectares. Four regions have started harvesting soybeans which harvested on an area of 6.6 thousand hectares.
