Soybean prices decline amid falling oil prices and slowing US economy

Soybean fell over April 25 – May 2.
Soybeans fell 12.8 cents to 1,040.2 cents per bushel over the week.
Pressure came from oil prices and signs of a slowdown in the US economy. Other bearish factors could be a drop in demand for edible fats from China and favorable planting conditions in the US.
