Sowing of winter cereals continues in Ukraine, 2.8 million hectares have already been sown

Agricultural producers of all regions are sowing winter grain crops, 2.8 million hectares of which have been sown, or 58% ahead of the forecast.
- Wheat is planted on 2.5 million hectares, or 61%.
- 265,000 hectares, or 39%, were sown with barley.
- 69,000 ha, or 81%, were sown with rye.
During the previous week, 954,000 hectares of winter crops were sown for grain.
Farmers of Dnipropetrovsk region and Odesa region sowed the most winter crops during the week, 100,000 hectares each.
Agricultural producers of all regions of Ukraine completed the sowing of winter rapeseed, of which 999,000 hectares were sown, or 104% of the forecast.
