Russian sunflower oil exports in March hit an all-time high
Russian sunflower oil exports in September-March 2020/21 totaled 2022 KMT (-5% y-o-y). March’s exports hit a new high of some 495 KMT due to a surge in purchases by Turkey and China, UkrAgroConsult reports.
Export potential in MY 2020/21 is 3.2 MMT (-16% from MY 2019/20 due to a reduced sunseed crop).
A rise in exports to the following markets: Azerbaijan (+46%), Sudan (+41%), Turkey (+36%).
A slowdown in exports to counties such as: India (-67%), Egypt (-46%), China (-6%).
