Russia will withdraw from the grain agreement if the delivery of explosives for the Crimean bridge by sea is confirmed – Putin
Russia will withdraw from the grain agreement if the delivery of explosives for the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge through the humanitarian corridor is confirmed.
Russian President Vladimir Putin informed journalists in Astana about this, writes TV channel “Dozhd” in Telegram.
“The FSB stated that, most likely, these explosives were sent by sea from Odesa, but it has not been established for sure whether it was done with the help of grain trucks or not. This question. There is no answer to it yet. But if the humanitarian corridors for the supply of grain are used to commit terrorist acts, then, of course, this will put the functioning of this corridor into question,” said the head of the Kremlin.
When asked to clarify what Russia’s response might be if the information is confirmed, Putin replied that the corridor would be closed.
“The answer is simple: we will close and end the matter. But it must first be established reliably,” he emphasized.
It will be recalled that Russia expressed concern at the UN about the agreement on the export of grain through the Black Sea and declared its readiness to refuse to renew the agreement next month if its demands are not considered.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on all states and organizations to make it clear to Moscow: the blackmail must stop, and Russia is not allowed to put millions of people at risk. Especially to countries that rely on the export of grain from Ukraine.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted a resolution calling the Russian Federation a terrorist regime.
