Russia. More than half linseed exports went to China
2020/21 linseed exports hit a four-year high of 559.7 KMT (+8% y-o-y, the second highest ever), UkrAgroConsult reports.
China is the main importer with a market share of 54%. It boosted purchases by 49% from the same time last year.
The EU has slid to second place in the ranking of importers, with its market share at 42%. The purchases fell by 13% y-o-y.
The following importers boosted purchases: Bangladesh (+192%), Latvia (+99%), Egypt (+45%).
A drop in exports was fixed to Mongolia (-100%), Italy (-38%) and Belgium (-17%).
