Russia. EFKO set to upgrade its sunseed crushing facilities
The fat-and-oil holding EFKO, one of Russia’s three largest sunseed crushers, will begin upgrading its facilities in Belgorod region in the 2019/20 season, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The Group is planning to boost sunseed crush in this region by 250 KMT, to 875 KMT a year.
Overall, EFKO Group estimates its oilseed crushing capacity at over 2 MMT, claiming that it processed more than 1 MMT of sunseed in the 2018/19 season.
